About Us
Joseph LaStoria
Joseph
is the Director of Training and Development for Training Advantages,
LLC. His background
in Information Technology coupled with his education in Organizational
Behavior and Development uniquely positions him to develop tools
that optimize adult Learning and Development.
Joseph
has been in the Information Technology field for over seventeen
years as Developer, Consultant and Trainer.
His experience includes in-house development for large
pharmaceutical organizations as well as consulting in the Retail,
Consumer Products, and Information Technology fields. His Organizational Behavior experience has been instrumental
in his development of training modules for use in various
industries, including instruction at the college level.
Under
a current contract with a large Health Care organization, Joseph
is responsible for courseware and training materials development,
technical writing of user manuals, delivery of training on
territory management to new hires, and consulting and testing of
new applications.
As
independent consultant, Joseph managed large projects aimed at
deploying data warehousing applications for sales organizations.
His experience ranges from initial requirements gathering,
application development, training, user acceptance testing and
final rollout.
Prior to consulting, Joseph served as in-house developer for a
major pharmaceutical organization. He developed web-based
tools for accessing sales data on a daily basis, oversaw the
migration from legacy systems to the web-based tools, developed
and delivered training to sales managers and field sales
personnel.
